Out of these two I would rather have the McLaren 750S

The topic that got many Ferrari owners angry was V6 vs V8, what were they thinking when they downgraded a V6 they ask ???
I will tell you what is up with the V6, it may not sound like a tradition Ferrari engine we all are used to such as the screaming V8 we've seen over the past 4-5 decades, but I've been in both cars and driven them for 30 minutes and for the first time ever, the V6 sounds fabulous when comparing it to the SF90 V8. Yes, it sounds better than hybrid V8, it's not close to the naturally aspirated 458/430, but it sounds really good and you'd be surprised that it's strapped with two turbochargers and the way it sounds. That's why they call it the mini V12 Ferrari.
It's more of a fun car rather than just a 0-100-200-300 acceleration time record. It's the type of car that will kill you if you're not sure what you're doing or when playing with settings and turning off the traction control. It slides, it goes from 100 to 240 with total confidence and wouldn't even know it if you didn't stare at the speedometer. When you turn off the traction control, things do get twitchy and boy does this thing like to drift and drift like crazy. In the wrong hands, you can end up in jail or get yourself killed. It's best not to test it with everything off on public roads. Delivery of early customer cars will b sometime between July - December 2022. Of course, Europe gets its first share then it goes out to the rest of the world. The wait is very long 2-3 years depending on your region. GTS delivery will be longer, order books could be closed once it reaches its target.
This is what happened with the 812 Superfast / GTS. Orders started in mid 2017 and by August/2021 the order books were closed, same goes for the F8 Tributo. There are cars that are still being built at the factory and haven't been delivered yet, 812 Competitzione will end production and by 4th quarter of 2023 it will be announced. By then we might hear about 812 successor as 2024 replacement.
For example, in Germany, the wait for RS6 Audi today is between 14 to 18 months. 5 years ago it would be 2-4 months or just visit the nearest showroom and you might find it standing right in front of you waiting for payment to be completed.
I have been told there will be a more aggressive version of the 296 within the next 1-2 years. I will hold my breath and decide by then, I pray and hope all the mess of chip shortage, Ukraine war comes to an end, so that they stop the inflation and dealer markups.
Here is a video of V6 Turbo from Ferrari, like it or hate it. You be the judge
