The Corvette is by far the better deal in my opinion. Slightly smaller, lighter, and with a mid-engine configuration giving what I think will be better track performance.

hard to say, the GTD is probably a limited production version, and those always command a higher price. Look at the Ford GT. Neither of its characterless engine, nor its performance justify its $500k price tag, yet I've heard it trading hands nearly at $1 million. A BMW CSL's price tag certainly does not make sense over a normal M4, or a M4 CS, but in the end, they all sold, and will likely hold value pretty well
