I wouldn't be surprised if the "old" Viper left this one on the strip during the first few tries. It has N/A torque from a big displacement, as opposed to a whiny supercharger married to a small-displacement, European-like 4-liter V8.

The Viper is off by around 55hp/tonne, but that doesn't stop it from keeping up with the Series 1 S/C!
