I know the heritage of Ford vs Ferrari is very popular. But if you were to say that Ford GTs are rare, they aren't.... there are 1350 of them. I find it absolutely absurd how they are trading hands at like 2x retail price, higher than SVJ's. Bear in mind, the Ford's engine is a modified engine from a pick up truck. While the SVJ's is a screaming V12 that puts out 770hp.

I don't believe you for a second that it beats SVJ from a dig, unless you are thinking some insanely long race and even then, SVJ has 120 more horsepower officially and higher official top speed.
You probably were looking at slightly tuned/chipped GTs.
