Every single C-Max I look up is lighter than 159 Sportwagon 1.9. What this shows is that C-Max is more of a driving enthusiasts car. It is not just transportation to go from A to B. It is emotionally rich driving experience with a hint of motorsports.

Alfa Romeo is more of a heavyweight A to B mover. Almost truck-like.

The 159 is based on a platform meant for luxury cars, this is why its so heavy.
