All three posted quartermile runs were on prepped dragstrips. Some mags claim that they don't use them, but in all truthfulness that's ONLY FOR SOME cars and trucks that really are considered 'hot-topic' cars, like the Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, and Tesla cars.
On the other hand, none of the RWD Hellcat sedan and coupe models were tested by M/T, C/D, or R&T on these PREPPED dragstrips. ONLY ON THE UNPREPPED ONES.
Porsche, BMW, and to a lesser extent, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes all make American and German mags use prepped dragstrips as well for their quartermile results.
