The GTM is a kit car made by Factory Five Racing(who made a name for themselves with high-quality AC Cobra "replicars"). They use their own aluminum chassis and lightweight composite body, but everything else pretty much comes from elsewhere. The suspension components, brakes and fuel tank comes from a C5 Corvette(though it uses Koni shocks and coilover springs); the transmission is straight from a Porsche 911; and the engine is an LS7 straight out of a Z06, making the same 505hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
But, in a car weighing less than 2500lbs, 505hp is enough to get it to 60 in 3secs flat, and let it run a 1/4 mile in 10.9secs. Can also pull 1.05g through a corner, but no magazine has ever put one on a track.
