Top 100 cars and bikes with highest power to weight ratio 2026

Power to weight ratio is very telling metric when it comes to both straight line acceleration and lap times alike.

A vehicle with high power output but excessive weight will not accelerate, brake or change direction as quickly as lighter vehicle, even if the lighter vehicle may be lacking in power.

Power to weight ratio, however, will not affect top speed, and very heavy cars lots of power and low coefficient of drag will dominate in high speed acceleration and top speed.

Power to weight ratio inherently is very good for motorcycles due to low weight.

This list is limited by available data and new vehicles will be added as new data arrives.

i think splitting the non-road legal and the road legal cars on lists would be a good idea, because (in this instance) around 40% of the cars on here are non-road legal, also there should be a list for worst power to weight.

Welp, ****. Today I learned 1), don’t add vehicles, and 2) if you are adding vehicles, don’t put commas after the thousands place in the weight spot.

Hennessey really spent all that money making the venom when all they needed to do was buy a Subaru Outback ????
