More power is always good. No matter if it is a family minivan, small crossover, pickup truck or a pure sportscar - more power will always be desirable.

Recent advancements in turbo charging have allowed increasingly higher specific power outputs for smaller engine displacements. So much so that almost all production cars in this list have forced induction engine - either turbo-charged, super-charged or both at the same time.

Electric cars are also catching up in terms of peak power output, and soon will populate this ranking in larger numbers.

This list is limited by available data and new vehicles will be added as new data arrives.

@fastestlaps I have an idea. make a tab at the bottom of lists to expand the list from say, 100 cars, to 200 cars, and then click it again and get 300 cars, and so on. is this doable?

@fastestlaps can you make the highest torque list? there is one on supercar lists but it's only to 40 and I think it would be easier to make one here

The SSC Tuatara is on this THIS list? It makes no sense NOT to add verified metrics for top speeds. We've only waited ELEVEN years!🤷😯
