Well, with a v8 it will be much faster, what slowed the old v8 was its tyres! The kumho's are far better than the old r888's!!! This set up with the v8 will be the faster than the 3.5r I think! Much more economical the 3.5r though!!!

So they have dropped the exquisite V8 in place for a much cheaper and sensible forced induction 4.
Can't really blame them for that.
