Some of the Technology is ENGLISH if not all of it. Been awhile since I've been on this page. It'll be awhile more.

It is physically IMPOSSIBLE for the 1900kg Aspark Owl to do 0-60mph in 1.69sec. DELETE DELETE DELETE😂

@FastestLaps you need to delete the claimed 0-60mph in 1.69sec for the Aspark Owl because it's physically impossible on street tyres. Surely no one could be that gullible??😂

https://integralp.com/communication/integral-e-drive-announced-as-partner-on-the-fastest-accelerating-car-in-the-world/

Quote>"The most powerful electric hypercar

The Owl will be powered by some of the most powerful electric motors ever made. The four high performance surface permanent magnet motors from Integral e-Drive will produce a total power of 1480kW with 2012 horsepower. The overall torque is around 2000Nm."

https://integralp.com/about-us/

Quote>"In 2018, Integral Powertrain’s e-Drive division supplied the electric motors and inverters that powered the Volkswagen Motorsport I.D. R race car to outright victory and a new electric vehicle and outright record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs,"

So the Aspark Owl electric motors and batteries are designed, researched and developed and manufactured in England.

Even the mighty Volkswagen utilised electric motors and inverters from Integral.

Some of this stemmed from previous research. Some I just knew of literally now.

So in terms of electric drives, battery packs, inverters and transmissions, England is on the cutting edge and more importantly bleeding badge in techologies in design and manufacture.

Mercedes-Benz know, they bought out YASA.

What a gimmicky POS. Only 50 being made is too limited production for this list. They can't test it so it's all hypothetical and a joke. Next contender pull up please.....

So this weighs more than the Lotus Evija. It uses the a 69kw/h battery. The Lotus Evija uses 70kw/h battery. The acceleration side is effectively sorted. Top speed is however not. Lotus state 200MPH plus+. That means nothing. It could be 299MPH. The median is 249MPH! Lotus is being TOO secretive!

Acceleration = 1.61g
That means the average American adult male would be subject to 307lbs of thrust against the driver's seat.

It looks very nice and it’s probably a wonderful machine, but the heavyweight is a downside. To me, anything above ~1200kg will compromise handling, because the tires will probably not do the job well enough and the downforce also will be less effective.

So the OWL has nearly doubled its hp, 1150 to 2040 in a year? Yet another overpriced soulless hypercar for all the EV fanboys to drool over. More competition for Musk's Roadster at the Nurb next year? Ah the sound of whirring dentist drills will be music to one's ears...NOT lol

I think this is another amazing car for which we will never get lap times or more acceleration data.
