Quote>"Weight (Kerb): Coupe 1685 kg / Roadster 1745 kg."

These are taken from the Aston Martin official website as of today.

If they utilise the 5.2 twin turbo V12 (actually an English Aston Martin design 110% but manufactured in Germany) it's obviously going to be a heavier unit.

The above figures INCLUDE the lightweight options.

So adding the V12 is going to push the Vantage V12 RS (possible name) into, deep into the 1700KG's region.

Now that's not overly a problem the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is as is the Ferrari SF90. I'm just wishing the car to be a complete sucess.

I've seen the prototype at the Nurburgring testing. It looks WICKED. I'm as excited about this as I am the McLaren Artura!

Rumours of 770hp and 550 lbs ft of torque are swirling around. But official confirmation would be better.

I'd compare it to the Mercedes-Benz Amg Black Series. Time will tell!

It's refreshing to see manufacturers show their sports car claimed curb weight, as opposed to dry weight.

Quote>"Under the hood is expected to be Aston Martin's own 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V-12. The engine has been tuned to deliver 760 hp in the DBS GT Zagato, though expect something closer to 700 hp in the Vantage."

Wow Aston Martin finally putting the V12 into the baby Vantage! Unfortunately no dual clutch transmission but still the ZF gearbox will be updated too.

Massive news for any sports car Lover!
