Fritz Huschke von Hanstein and Walter Bäumer won the Mille Miglia in 1940. It was the second time a non-italian car won there. The first Mille Miglia that was won by an other non-italian car, an Mercedes SSKL, was in 1931. Rudolf Caracciola and Wilhelm Sebastian won.
