Z4 sDrive35i competition

Same. But Bmws are getting extremely expesnsive knowadays, The 35IS is approaching £50,000, And a 35IS in the states STARTS at $65,000.. Hell an M4 is approaching £80,000 here, and almost $100,000 fully loaded in the US, Not that i wouldnt have much trouble paying it, But they are getting a bit rediculous.

Top Gears comparison with 370Z is unfair. The Z is not convertible. Z4 Coupe vs 370z would be interesting.

More and more people in the market want the folding hardtop, rhe heated seats, NAV, etc. All of those things add weight.
Besides, the Z4 is a girl car and girls usually lie about their weight so if a Z4 owner calls it a small convertible, who are we to disagree with her? j/k

I'd buy this over any other small convertible (like the SLK, except the 55 though).

IT'S THE TRUTH, want it or not. Once you get behind the wheel of BMW, you'll forget about other cars.

Since it's BMW, it's the Godfather of all the cars.
Who do you think you're fooling?

They need to come up with a better name or nomenclature for the newest BMW models. "Z4 sDrive35i" doesn't flow naturally when spoken.
