"After" proof. Date change highlighted in quotations below.

https://zeperfs.com/en/fiche3273-mercedes-sl-brabus-sv12s.htm

Quote>"Last changes: 11 Dec 2021."

Now, the 0-300km/h was added! That's nice.

Ultimately it's not, a very particularly big deal.

But it IS important. Least it is to me, very. This production car is an impressively engineered UNICORN.

Just a "little" win today.

;)

I took this screenshot as a "before" proof. You'll notice that a very specific metric is missing. I wouldn't let it lie. I couldn't, it was pissing me off. The verifications existed?

So I got my materials together and I directly emailed Zeperfs this morning stating my concerns? If that's the right word at the lack of it's inclusion.

They replied a few short hours later.

THIS is my best find EVER!

https://www.autobild.de/artikel/test-brabus-sv12-s-220723.html

Test Brabus SV12 S —19.06.2007
Der XX-SL

KM/H
0-100= 3.9 seconds
0-200= 10.9 seconds
0-300= 23.9 seconds

Top speed= 335km/h please note short gearing ratio's used otherwise 350km/h plus+.

Please everybody triple check the figures. I'm good but mistakes occur.

Quote>"From then on, the rubbers were desperately looking for a grip and catapulted the SV12 S, which weighed two tons, to 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds. A speed of 200 is reached just seven seconds later. Another 13 seconds and the speedometer needle crosses the 300 mark."

*translated text from original German.

3.9 seconds @ 100 km/h
3.9+7= 10.9 seconds @ 200km/h
10.9+13= 23.9 seconds @ 300km/h

From Autobilds OWN test figures. In other places it's WAY higher. I knew it was incorrect.

Again anything awry give me a comment below. But for now, WOW sexy metrics!

Torque is restricted to preserve the transmission. It's not by law, it's to keep the car from twisting itself into a pretzel.

with tyres 285-315 on rear (it is rear wheels drive) it can't put 1100Nm on the road so it goes 0-100 in 3s, not enought grip

The main reason for the less than stellar 0-60 time is due to lack of traction. The problem with the 65 series amg's and highly tuned versions of the same engine, without slicks its hard to get the power down and once you do have a significant amount of grip you're already into 3rd gear and above. In a car like this 0-60 is not so significant as 0-300km.

With that power it should do a 0-100 in 3 seconds, easy, but it does not?

It has 537kw/730PS and the torque is limited to 1100 Nm.
