My understanding was based on 100 production units of the Bugatti Mistral and 40 production track only units of the Bugatti Bolide that 2025 was the year even if Q3/Q4?

2027 is WAY too far out? I know for a fact Volkswagen gave the contract for the Bugatti Chirons replacement prior to merger agreement in Croatia last year. 18 months or more?

Sighs. OK well, Mate Rimac is the man and he's the boss of Bugatti I'll shift focus onto the Rimac Nevera for the next while.

So someone who lapped Paul Ricard in a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport let a laptime slip!

2 minutes 15 seconds "circa" right at the bottom of the comments in reply.

That's the FIRST indication for ANY Bugatti Chiron laptimes I've ever known! And I mean in SIX YEARS! ;)

Also I just realized it says 16 zylinders instead of cylinders.

Also the Chiron weighs 4,396 pounds I am the biggest fan of Bugatti and even I don't think it's capable of a sub 7 minute 30

The reason I thought the Sport version of the Chiron was 2 seconds faster was because it's slightly lighter and has a tuned suspension. The Centodieci has such a better time is due to better aerodynamics improved suspension and more power.

My Nurburgring time guesses are...

Chiron: 7:32.8
Chiron Sport: 7:30.4
Centodieci: 7:24.35
Divo: 7:15.448
Chiron Pur Sport: 7:12.68
Chiron Vision GT: 6:32.78
Bolide: 5:38.764

The Veyron SS and Chiron would probably slower and maybe add seven to ten seconds for the Divo and Pur sport so 6/10 but better then I could guess. I haven't learned about physics yet btw.

Bugatti's most thorough independent test yet? 2 weeks and 1000km's~so I've been told! English automotive legend Harry Metcalf? I don't EVER recall anything like this for the Bugatti Chiron let alone the even more highly specialised Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport!

I'll watch it at some point, just not yet. One to savour!

Tbh I'm truly going to miss top speed runs from Bugatti the first car I knew which was the car that got me into cars was the 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport which hit 432.4 kph 268 miles per hour and made 1,183 horsepower and 1,106 torques and now they are done its truly saddening r.i.p the Supersport editions you will never be forgotten.

Got to use what you've got, and if it's nothing, you choose something that's the next best thing.

Bugatti spent $120 MILLION dollars developing the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport VARIANT!

So I'll be honest, the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport has been, to a degree and extent, and I don't think anyone would argue, completely overshadowed by the Bugatti Chiron Supersport. Both variants.

So, with ongoing (and fraught LOL!) investigations going on with the Nurburgring it's the right time to very seriously look at the "bad boy" within Bugatti's production line up!

Ultimately ending with hopefully "realistically" benchmarked or calculated production laptimes.

The pur sport is like the person who sees his insanely fit friends and is like screw it and does non stop work outs and get ripped.

Mat Watson says that the Chiron Pur Sport is 2 sec faster from 60km/h to 120km/h than the standard Chiron?? Given that the standard Chiron does it in less than 2 sec that's quite the claim lol
