If one thinks given a 425Bhp Camaro SS for there kids 16 year old is ridiculous, Then this is one of if not THE most fkn stupid moves a parent can do.
Obviously not the 1st car isnt bad...But the 2nd....But hey, I hope he prepares for her funeral..

@ BR2+, & Shaggy
I agree, buying a teenager a brand new car is just plain wrong.. Autocross experience may allow them to handle the car's performance much better than your average teen, but on principle, I'm opposed to parents buying teens new cars, especially expensive new cars...

BR2+ 8y ago
A teens first car should not be a 425Bhp performance car, Period, Shouldnt matter ho much money you have, Hell Puff Daddy bought his sons first car to be a Maybch 57 a few years agog....Thats fkn stupid on all levels, And some actually buy there kid a 599 GTB, Not questioning there parenting, But am questioning there decisions.

I stumbled on a pretty interesting article. Apparently GM's got some real performance goodies for the Camaro...even HP increases for the base 6.2L V8... Man, what's the newer, lighter, Camaro gonna be like? :)

The camaro is faster than 4.7 to sixty. With the performance exhaust and short throw shifter opted in it's more like 4.4 seconds and it's got 430 hp under the hood.

The front I like, its that end that is plain ghastly, That ugly rear make it look cheap and like a Prelude, They should have kept the older ones but just refreshed them, Like more LEDs in a tighter combo with either a chrome/color/CF/ aluminium trim.
Those similar lights look fine on the older car, but hideous on the new one. So, I think I would have to go over and take my business to Ford....

I think GM should have set the LT1 engine into Camaro SS, cause LS3 seems to outdated already.
The front and silhouette look impressive. But still can't stand that rear trim with those Prelude lights... If GM designers combined new front and side with the pre-facelited rear, the whole car would look harmonically as a true muscle car.
