If the C8 retained front-engined, it would be a facelifted C7. The platform is the same, it just shifted the engine position further back. Every 'vette has been mid-engined from the beginning of time. Front or rear, it's still a mid-engined beast.

Improving the performance bugs in my Corvette C8 Stingray and Stingray Z51 (from 114 to 119 mph trap speed in the 1/4-mile, down from 11.8 to 11.2 seconds)
Automation estimated the Stingray at 11.5 and the Z51 version at 11.1.

I will make a limited run tune on FH5 with 15 being made for the C8.

During 2019 while this was testing my guess was that it was going to get a 7 minute 24 Nurburgring time.

Why is the C8 slower than a C7 Grandsport? I mean this is more powerful, mid engine and better balanced.
