So I heard that the new Corvette Grandsport will have 700+hp, AWD, a sort of upgrade from the original E-Ray.
I find it a bit crazy how the 911 Turbo used to compete with the ZR1. Now it has similar performance to a Grand Sport Corvette.

Where did you get the 10.4s for the 1/4 mile. I have not seen any evidence since it was introduced that it can do a 10.4. 10.52 is the fastest 1/4 that I know about for a Stock Car. I believe the 10.4 number should be adjusted. http://zinnware.com/docs/C8-Quarter-Mile-Time-Comparisons.pdf

Improving the performance bugs in my E-Ray for the next round at the Nurburgring! Up from 114 to 124 mph, and down from 11.4 to 10.4 seconds (1/4-mile-wise)!
The last runs at the 'ring felt just as fast (especially at higher speeds) as the Honda Civic Type-R and Acura Integra (or TLX) Type-S. The Stingray and E-Ray twins hardly drove like what a 495-horsepower sports car should be, let alone something with a power-to-weight ratio comparable to that of the E-Ray's official competitor, the Acura NSX Type-S.
The Sequel:

I actually think the E-ray isn't bad at all. It's only got a 1.1kwh battery, so its weight is only a bit more than the normal corvette, but you get a lot more usability from the AWD, and the ability to collect the kinetic energy back into the batteries. The extra weight is minimal, about 80kg more than a Z06.

Length: 184.6 in
Width: 79.7 in
Height: 48.6 in
Passenger Volume: 51 ft3
Cargo Volume: 13 ft3

For comparison here are the stats on the C6 Corvette.

I prefer smaller and lighter Corvettes.

@fastestlaps please remove https://fastestlaps.com/models/chevrolet-corvette-e-ray or use the picture on this page for the original then delete this page, but move the updated specs (weight, peak HP RPM, and Torque RPM) onto the older page. Here is the picture.

Remake of the other E-Ray page I created. Better quality picture, and updated specs.
