Those numbers match those of the C7 Stingray which uses much more modern tires. The post-facelift C6 is actually faster than the C7 if you think about it.

Steven Kronemberger seems to be an okay driver, but a little sloppy in turns 3 and 4 at Willow Springs. He used Nitto NT01 tires, and Hawk brake pads. I plan on beating his time using Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires and Carbotech XP8 brake pads which are far superior.

Has anyone seen the new photographs that Road and Track are claiming to be 2014 C7 models? They look suspiciously just like C6 Grand Sports to me. However, R&T says that the C7 has a seven speed manual and they pointed out the blanked off outer exhausts on the coupe indicating some changes made to the engine.

Well, LC on the vette is a neat trick and its not like you must use it. Their active handling systems are becoming so advanced they are going into ferarris. Not a bad thing so long as you have the ability to turn them off. I hate when cars have traction systems that cannot be deactivated or still act as a nanny even when you shut them off.

I personally wouldnt use LC but if I wanted to let my wife make a run at a drag strip it would be much easier/safer to let her use LC than to try and teach her how to launch the car the old fashion way. L.C.. is there for your wife lol.

Launch control? Since when was it ever difficult to launch a C6? I hate how manufacturers are starting to come up with anti-idiot countermeasures. You want a sports car? Learn to ****ing drive. First the 370Z starts to match your revs for you, and now this.

jasem loves cars with launch control :D

in his world, lauch control makes any car perfect. If zaparozhetz had a lauch control, he would prefer it over McLaren F1.

Launch control. That's what it's all about. That's what really counts.

Well if the splitter and rear spoiler are the same as those on the Z06, you're getting a bit of aero. I hope its not convertible only.
