1971 Corvette production included 14,680 coupes and 7,121 convertibles for a total of 21,801. Of these 188 had the LS6, 5,097 had the LS5, 1,949 had the high revving small block LT1, and all the rest had the standard 350 cubic inch small block with only 270 hp (gross), 200 bhp (net).
