He is technically somewhat right. At reasonable speeds, the Corvette is considerably quicker than both the Chiron and the Jesko. And I’m not talking about the factory-tuned prototype that managed a sub-9-second quarter-mile; the production Jesko is hardly a sub 10sec car
Bugatti and Koenigsegg only really pull ahead beyond 300 km/h, which is largely irrelevant in real-world driving. Where are you even going to find a road long enough to exploit those speeds?
Even on a racetrack, the Corvette isn’t particularly far behind. Bugatti can't even take a corner, while Koenigseggs, on circuits without long straights to exploit their immense power, struggle to keep up with a GT3 RS.
You also have to factor in reliability, koeinegseg might not survive a track session without braking down while you can actually push corvette lap after lap without any worry

This includes EVs too, so that immediately invalidates the point, but even excluding them it's still not the quickest. They believe the 8.65s 1/4 by chevrolet made on prepped surface, too bad that the ZR1X does 9-9.3s in normal independent tests without rollout. The Jesko Absolut managed 8.5s with the factory software wich WILL come to road variants. There is really no need to touch the big dogs like Bugatti and Koenigsegg either, C21 traps 9.2 @156 and from the same source the ZR1X did 9.2 @153. I dont want to get into the speculative area but the F80 and similar according to the data we have could do similar.

Luke warm take; This car is very very cool, but no one seems to have a grip about it. The american muscle crowd does nothing but glaze this car, and act like it is the second coming of the lotus Carlton in terms of cheap performance. It is relatively cheap, but its srill 200k at the minimum. The euro guys seem to think it is all hype and marketing magic, when it is actually low end hypercar fast (see its recent races with the sf90). Its a fast and relatively cheap vehicle. Thats it. It is not going to beat high or even most medium range hypercars, but it will give something like an sf90 a good run. It is not mean to be "luxurious" like a ferrari, it is meant to be as fast as one for a third of the price. Something it succeeds at. It will never do a "6:22 at the ring" or whatever mero and co were lying about, but it will do a 6:50, a very respectable laptime, and then taken to a strip put some cars to shame. Just my 2 cents on the zr1x.

Barely faster than the Senna😭 but we celebrate regardless. IMHO the regular ZR1 might be faster on track (especially a tight course like this one)
Which makes this laptime so impressive. The ZR1X only had one place it could really use it's power, so it had to be so close to the lighter, higher mechanical grip, higher downforce SENNA around the tight technical turns that it managed to still pull ahead. Remember, this is a 4 THOUSAND pound car trying to do ballet.

Holy sh*t, brooks ran an 8.74 with the zr1x in -100 DA with the carbon aero bits & ztk package (Wing removed), he said it was -1500 DA earlier. The corvette team ran an 8.67 in -800 DA, i thought their hero run couldn't be broken by much, but it definitely can be topped by a solid margin.
Definitely capable of running an 8.5.

C5 Z06: sports car

The original Grand Sport was never raced and was a front engine SB 6.2L manual.
At the same time the 200+ mph AWD CERV 2 SB ME 6.2L automatic ended up a 7.0L but limited and another limited Zora!
Hence, a retrograded homologation, if you will, aspected and all caught up -
