Remember: this has almost as much torque (330 lb-ft at just 3200 rpm) as the Ferrari F50 (347 lb-ft, but at a lazier 6500 rpm). Automotive magazine Car and Driver tested the 1994 model, and it pulled the same exact skidpad as the Nissan 300ZX and McLaren F1 (0.86 g), but being 1600+lbs heavier than the latter. All of this for just slightly over $24,000 (at the time, of course).

@ Viking: I'm completely positive it's the 700 R4, back in the day, that 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission was GM's go to automatic transmission, my Chevrolet S-10 had a 700 R4, I wished its engine was a good as its transmission, one guy even offered to buy my old truck's transmission, not the whole truck, just the transmission, I was still driving it. :D

@ewigj very true LOL. :)
@Shaggy I think you are right, probably the GM 700 R4.

It just needs more specs, and the gearbox is a 4 speed automatic, most likely a GM 700 R4.

@ewigj why? The stats look okay, although they could be more complete. This model was essentially the civilian version of the standard police cruiser of the time. It would be better if a lap time were added, and there might in fact be one somewhere. Just check the car magazines websites if you want more info on this popular car.
