No offence, but that is the most pathetic vehicle Chevrolet has ever had the gall to cough up.

If they made a purely electric car with a range of at least 150 miles between charges I'd be very interested. I hate the whole idea of electric cars but you cannot deny that it would be nice to never stop at a fuel station.

I however will never buy a dual electric/petrol car. Twice as many things to go wrong and twice the repair bills. I have a feeling they are actually worse for the environment because they require more energy to produce, contain some nasty chemicals in the batteries and are likely not have a long life span.

The price to repair dead batteries + gas/petrol engines will quickly exceed the value of the car itself once it ages.

The only thing slower than the Volt's lap times are its sales

Did anyone hear from the internet rumor-mill that the Volt wouldn't have any power when the batteries were dead and the Extended range motor was running.......Guess they were wrong.

We need more cars like this! And driving would become affordable once again.
