This is actually a Baldwin motion super Vega the only one known to exist of about 50 two of which had big block 454 ls6's the one in this picture (at the time it was taken)belonged to the editor of super Chevy magazine.

@ Super8: Pretty cool car, the I knew the Vega was available with a V8, but never knew of a Yenko Vega, I've heard of a Cosworth Vega.

This is the only Yenko Vega that fitted with LT1 V8 from Corvette. It's available as super optional because Yenko can't request a V8 for this car. To make sure his goal reached, he bought LT1 Crate Motor and put it to 1971 Vega GT. Only 2 cars that fitted with LT1 engine and not documented by Chevy. The car itself is inspired from prototype Vega with Camaro Z28 V8. The close ratio version can reach sub 10 sec for 1/4 mile with guarantee it can reach that time using sport tires from Yenko.
