Assuming this is on modern tires with a modern engine rated in net horsepower... 0-100 kph in 4.9 is awful for a sports car with this power to weight...but I could understand if the gearing is tall... I think back then these sorts of cars would hit 70-90 mph in first gear

Low Drag GT competition

Can’t compete on looks, but if you want similar (if not better performance) at a fraction of the cost, then you might be very surprised to find it in a R170 SLK32 AMG.
Don’t get taken in by the ‘hairdressers car’ bar talk (unless it’s the 230 model or downwards). The 32 is a true AMG - it and its saloon car relative the C32, were the first cars launched after MB took ownership of AMG. The engine is a supercharged 3.2litre V6 which was hand built by a single AMG technician and used uprated internals. It is in essence a ‘balanced & blue printed’ 349BHP unit. Acceleration figures stated by MB were actually for the saloon car (0-60 in 5.1secs), but the SLK is a lighter car.
Only 263 RHD models were produced for the U.K. market, with a total of 4,300 worldwide, so it also a rarity.

The data should be corrected:
Power - 345 bhp @ 4800;
Torque - 490 Nm @ 3600;
Engine - Inline-6;
Gearbox - 5-speed manual;
Curb weight - 1038 kg;
Top speed - >270 kph;
0-100 kph - about 4.5 sec.
Just such a Perfect car. Lightweight, fast, agile, has a manual tranny, sounds amazing, and the most important - it looks Divine. I think this car can be called "the Ultimate Enthusiast's Dream".
Just one problem.. it is one-off and costs £650k... But if I had a chance and few millions, I'd buy this car. I just wish this piece of art will hit a more massive production.

I hope this makes the same noise as the speedster because that sounded epic on top gear.

The paint is kinda accurate like that as it is based on the e type lightweight from the 60s, I will add a picture so you see what I mean.

Excellent! A classic glorious E-Type body and + modern reliable tech and performance = an ideal combination. That's beyond the Skies... A Dream Machine.
Enzo Ferrari: "The most beautiful car ever made". And I completely agree!
If I ever built my own supercar, it would be inspired by the Magnificent E-Type. I wish...

By the way this is not the same company that make the talon, it is a British organisation.

I love this car! Cousin of the equally good looking eagle speedster, based on the jaguar e type low drag coupe! Top speed 161, 0-60, 4.9 all estimates from a site I found
