I owned a 1990 Talon TSI, great fun until the turbo died. It squirted forward nicely when the turbo finally spooled, otherwise not so much. Handling was the biggest disappointment. Also parts literally fell off the steering wheel on the bumpy road, lol.
The MR2-S that followed ran rings around it on anything with curves. AWD notwithstanding.
Good car, yes. Dream car? Not for me.

I once saw a Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo and Eagle Talon TSI race on the streets of Annapolis, sort of a stoplight to stoplight thing, the Eagle Talon won, although they're practically the same car, the Eagle Talon is a little quicker because it's lighter.

Was the engine come from?

I love this car, it was made back when Chrysler was allied with Mitsubishi. An Eagle Talon TSI is one of my dream cars, but I would have a '96.
