Its still the same car pretty much. But I agree that its not prettier. Its just slightly uglier, because changes are minimal.

Popup headlights were falling out of favor by late 90s. I don't know why - the aerodynamic penalty is only there if you're driving at night. And how much night driving would you do with a Ferrari where it would make any difference if you have couple miles more range per fuel tank...

For daytime running there are the smaller lights in the front bumper.

I guess it had to do with crash tests and pedestrian safety.

Exactly. The F355 had pop up headlamps and was a "baby" 512TR. They ruined it.

The best looking Testarossa, IMO. The first looks great, too, but, for me, a bit too, lets say, agressive for a Ferrari.

But both are absolutely dream cars!

This is the latest development of the Testarossa line. Only 500 were produced. Testarossa line:
1984-1991: Testarossa (396 PS)
1991-1994: 512 TR (428 PS)
1994-1996: 512 M (440 PS)
