Visually I think it’s the best looking Ferrari for the long while. The 812 may look a bit too fussy, but it’s chassis is definitely better sorted than the F12

F12 Berlinetta competition

Probably the last beautiful Ferrari. The shapes are just perfect, wild and aggressive but not overdone.
This is the car that Lamborghini could only dream of making: incredible sound (the new Aventador almost sounds like yet another Turbo V8 washing machine), daily drivability, comfort, practicality. And still faster in a straight line. This and the 599 GTB are what finally put the horse above the bull.

Could you change ferrari f12 berlinetta's torque to 509lb-ft

The so called F12M should have at least 800 HP. But even with that kind of power it wouldnt be faster in acceleration than Mclaren 675 LT. Ferrari F12 is a supercar but its a super GT car. I will not expect staggering performance from F12M. Car will be too heavy to have great power to weight ratio and they cant have much more power from existing V12 car if it needs to be reliable and elastic.

This argument would be good if it ahppened when F12 was anounced, the dealers of 599 GTO was angry for that. F12 TDF is a special car with only 600 models in the world with different combination colors, more track focused and a more radical setup. May be the next will be fast than F12 tdf but less especial and less radical.

Interesting. If next front engine Ferrari is still N.A., those who bought F12 TDF will be really pissed off. The main reason for buying it was all the hype about how this will be the last "proper V12 Ferrari".
As far the 488 Speciale, I don't think another 30 - 50 horsepower will make the difference. The car is just too heavy and soft, compared to McLarens.

The president of Ferrari said the last year that the V12 will not change to V8 in the high GT class, and:

(sounds like a N/A)

and more...

According to who, RumorMill Inc? N.A. engines will never match turbos in power to weight ratio, its not possible physically.

FastestLaps 5y ago
It will be turbocharged. I am willing to bet. But for that Ferrari need to develop a brand new engine from ground up. They may still use much of the tech they already for the V8 TT still.
But it has to be a twelve. There are two types of Ferraris - V8s and V12es. And there should be nothing between, below or beyond :D

I dont no how anybody can be disspointed with this car.
You know, instead of looking at the cars slowest times, Look at its fastest ones, That shows you the potential that it has and what it can do, The F12 has already topped 220kph in the 1/4, The fastest time is 10.6@223kph by Quattroruote, And in that first vid you posted, It achieved 10.7@135 in the same day. This isnt supposed to be real sharp like a 458, Thats what the 458 lineup is for, Its more extreme in looks and power, But as ability go the 458 is more extreme. People will take the F12 to the strip and for an autobahn cruise, The 458 they will take it to the track and to the beach to cruise. And any car that does a 1:09.9 at hockenheim, Or 7:33 at the Ring Is what id call VERY fearsome. If you want a car thats pure speed in accel, Make it one, Because there isnt a single car on sale today thats a pure dragster. Nobody understands why you can be dissapointed.

Im just disappointed. I thought that F12 would be one of the fastest supercars when we talk about straight line acceleration. I know that its a GT car so i m aware that on tracks it is not a monster but i thought that this is a car that can trap 1/4 mile at ~220 km/h, 1/2 mile at 265 km/h, 1km at about 280 km/h and 1mile at ~30x km/h.
But all i 've found is that :

Not very optimistic results....

BR2+ 5y ago
But you didn't put the opinion Of thee "press" You Wrote That, Either way it' like saying which is the best color, And you can't decide which car is better by simply reading an article, no matter how many people agree or disagree lol
And yes dddddddd is insane
But I love how people just no what cars people have and haven't driven lol

BR2+ 5y ago
ok, it is your opinion but the reality is for example a 488 or Laferrari ...they dont think loke you. 488 is much better supercar than 650 S ( tts or huracan have serious performance but 488 is better, fast and better to drive, more fun) because is better in the corner and have a more racing fee
lol You just stated an opinion too, Absolutely hilarious.

Chanante 5y ago
dddd. You put the same since Ferrari whows the F12. F12 is a super car but is a super car in GT format. its diferent configuration. you say that Porsche, Mclaren and Lambo make better super cars. ok, it is your opinion but the reality is for example a 488 or Laferrari ...they dont think loke you. 488 is much better supercar than 650 S ( tts or huracan have serious performance but 488 is better, fast and better to drive, more fun) because is better in the corner and have a more racing feel, 650 is very near in straight lone, ok but in a circuit 488 is near than 675lt, you can se the Evo magazine in Anglesey. yes Ferrari have a poor performance, dddd only have the true. long live dddddddddd

dddd 5y ago
It is not hard to notice that Mclaren, Porsche and Lamborghini are very strong and produce real supercars of very high performance.
Can Ferrari compete with them ? Its sad but F-cars are the least technologically advanced and the slowest in classes and price segments. They are still great and fun to drive but slow and full of old tech.
