People always compare Ferrari and Lamborghini, mainly because they are Italian, but Ferrari's actual competitor is Aston Martin, and that brand often gets compared to Bentley. Ferrari vs. Aston Martin is the actual rivalry, and it's cars like the Roma, 12Cilindri and other GTs, and even hypercars like the SF90 and F80 that prove it is actually an AM rival and not Lamborghini. They all compete with the Vantage, Vanquish, Valhalla, and Valkyrie, respectively. The DB12 would have been a competitor to a successor of the GTC4lusso.

The 2023 Ferrari Roma by German design masters Mansory!
Das Auto!
Not exactly my thing but I'm sure it'll appeal to someone!

I mean, I've not heard ANYTHING about this project before, the V12 Ferrari Roma?😲
Nice to be surprised once in awhile!
I'd expect it's more likely just a developmental or experimental exercise than any serious attempt at a new variant but only time will tell. Ferrari continually surprises.
Anyway, I'll look at it later.

Contrary to whatever Ferrari stated, the Roma is not achieving a 9.3s sprint from 0-200km/h anytime soon. The MC20 does 0-200 in 9.6 (falling short of its 8.8 claim). Such timing is possible only in a press/ringer car.
Using the 458 Italia (10.4) and the 599 GTB Fiorano (11.0) as benchmarks, the Roma should complete the 0-200 sprint in 10.7s.
In terms of road course performance (cornering abilities), the Roma is positioned closer to the V8 Vantage than to the V12 Vantage, and for good reason! It's more posh-GT than outright-supercar!

Auto Motor und Sport did a TEST with the Ferrari Roma vs Porsche 992 Turbo S and McLaren GT! Except, there's no bloody numbers for the Ferrari and the ones for the Porsche and Mclaren (0-300km/h) look slower than usual from memory.
God dammit!
For what it's worth.

On the clocks 0.25 speed high highest resolution and a quick finger plus Youtube counters! (In my experience can be 0.5 seconds out)
The speeds were either 1 or 2km/h under the full 100/200 mark.
Anyway>
0-100km/h= 3 seconds
0-200km/h= 9 seconds
100-200km/h= 6 seconds to include variances as discussed.
Interesting.
