In fact in a recent interview Barrichello said that the F2002 and F2004 in racing had just over 1000hp and in training-rich mode could reach close to 1300hp, just over a year ago at a Ferrari customer F1 event at Monza, a customer using the F2004 with modern slick tires surpassed the track record in almost 7s and exceeded 380km/h! The FIA, as always, forbade disclosure so as not to show how much F1 has fallen in the last decade, as well as forbidding to show the time that Montoya did with BMW/Willians from 2002 or 2001 I don't remember for sure, this year in Austria that even using 80% power it was almost 5s faster than 2022 cars!

What would the acceleration times be on this car, either way it wouls still be slower than the x2010, I also think that a truly unrestricted f1 car would be making 2000-2500hp and would have ground effect and would lap the nurburgring in around 2.5 minutes.

Unrestricted F1 car would need many changes to the powertrain to accommodate power that is achievable without restrictions. It would not be just a simple push of a button to unrestrict it and drive it with 2000 hp at race load and expect it to not overhead / blow up etc.

Charles Leclerc has crashed an ex-Niki Lauda classic Ferrari grand prix car!

No my friend, just an unfortunate coincidence! If there's one thing you shouldn't do is read too deeply into things and then worse connect them to other things! It never ends satisfactorily!🙂

I've definitely learnt the had way.
