Considering that it was raining later in the film, 10.9 sec 1/4 mile and 3.2 sec 0-100 is pretty good for a Roadster

This is the Aventador S Roadster: https://fastestlaps.com/models/lamborghini-aventador-s-roadster

Yeah it's pretty obvious that the conditions weren't suitable for getting the best performance figures but even though the Roadster is heavy ie. approx 1770-1800 kg with a full tank of fuel it should be able to do 100-200 km/h in 6.2/6.3 not 6.72 sec

All new Lambos tend to start of selling good, Thas no excuse to take advantage of people. Not like Lambo is going anywhere.

I still think the Aventador still looks fantastic today, Some cars are getting prettier some worse, Starts out looking great, then better looking cars come out.

$420000 is not that much for a new car. For that you can barely afford a 1985 Audi Sport Quattro. Or a 1992 Honda NSX-R (and have some money left). :D In 2025 a Ford Fiesta will cost $420000. Start "saving" today lol

I have to say, 6 years ago the Aventador was quite appealing. Not now.

User avatar

Remember the Aventador sold like hot cakes and Lambo could not keep up with demand. This time they decided to cash in. They know this car will sell, they just wanna make sure they make as much money as possible with the limited manufacturing capacity.

I remember when the good ole Murcielago started at $273,140...

Like is this car alone worth more then a GT3/ZO6/HellCat/RS3/M4/STI all put together? Gotta wonder.

But i am curious as to what kind of cars these real high price companys could make if they made a car under 100k? Or even around the 50k mark, Im curious as to what that would be like.

Starting price of $424845...

That's just stupid expensive.

Review/test drive by topgear:
http://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/lamborghini/aventador-s

Being the spec-maniac that I am, I was looking for some performance measurements but, unfortunately, it looks like TopGear.com don't do that kind of stuff. Which is a shame - when you got access to the car why not measure its acceleration?

Maybe Lambo specifically prohibit media to do measured tests for the time being.

I do find it crazy how much the price of this thing has gone up. Or is it just to compensate the devaluation of the sterling and Euro?

well, stop googling every single crap posted here, the bigger bimbo also joined the party because his makeup is about to wear off and couldn't resist any longer.

this just proves that there are two losers on this forum that continue to spread the hate.

the top two nazi fanboys, shouldn't they be eradicated for good ? what good did they bring to the world besides racism, but in their own words it's called criticism.
