The day in Texas when Lamborghini SE30 SPANKED the McLaren F1, Porsche GT1, Ferrari F40+F50 AND Bugatti EB110! AND the Nissan GTR "Godzilla" LMFAO!

https://imgur.com/gallery/n9Gky

Quote>"Today, our crew is going to test ten different supercars. The first one is going to be Porsche's street-legal racecar, known as the 911 GT1 "Strassenversion," which means "Street version" in German. We all wondered, doesn't it look like a Le Mans racecar to you? The 537-horsepower, twenty-five-hundred-plus-pound road racer says it all, speaking in mind with silence, "I'm a racecar in street clothes!" Keep in mind, though, that the GT1 is neither a 993 nor a 996 Porsche, but rather an evolution between the two. We are also not certain of it being road-worthy in the good-old United States, but right now we are testing in a sixty-three-degree-Fahrenheit, cloudy weather in the cowboy city of Houston, Texas."

Quote>"Exactly what you've been waiting for, is the Lamborghini Diablo SE! Actually, it's called the Lamborghini Diablo SE30, but we call it Diablo SE for short. It packs some five more horsepower than the 1995 Ferrari F50, but is it a quarter-mile challenger? Expect it to be super quick!

Surprise! The Diablo SE launches to sixty in just 3.3 seconds, finishes the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at 128.5 mph, and accelerates from thirty to one-hundred-and-twenty in 8.1 seconds, which means it's both quicker and faster than the lighter, supposedly 'more-powerful, even-more-advanced' McLaren F1! It's also over a second quicker to a hundred than the McLaren. The next car on the run is its main rival, the Ferrari F50. But first, let's take a look at its full results.

Quote>"1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE
0-30 mph: 1.8 sec
0-60 mph: 3.3 sec
0-80 mph: 4.9 sec
0-100 mph: 7.0 sec
0-120 mph: 9.9 sec
0-1320 ft (1/4-mile): 11.4 sec @ 128.5 mph
30-120 mph: 8.1 sec."

Quote>"1993 McLaren F1
0-30 mph: 1.7 sec
0-60 mph: 3.5 sec
0-80 mph: 5.5 sec
0-100 mph: 8.1 sec
0-120 mph: 10.7 sec
0-1320 ft (1/4-mile): 11.7 sec @ 126.9 mph
30-120 mph: 9.0 sec."

As per WIKIPEDIA "verifications" "process".

Ahaha!

What a beast for its time. This could have hung with a Murcielago, no doubt.

So NOBODY populated this comments section at all? That's criminally insane. One of the most important Lamborghini's ever and most beautiful Diablo's. I remember reading the Autocar and Motor test like it was yesterday. Well, that's getting sorted!
