Lexus V8 Supercar Could Be Delayed After Goodwood Tease Leaves Fans Hanging
The publication suggests a delay could tie into tougher emissions regulations. If the road-going version is forced to meet new standards, engineering changes might be required, stretching the timeline even further.
For enthusiasts, that’s an unwelcome prospect. Reports also indicate the LC500 could bow out after the 2026 model year, leaving Lexus without a flagship grand tourer. The LFR, as the new car is rumored to be called, would fill that gap and then some, giving the brand a true rival to Europe’s established players.
when youtubers get paid handsomely and nobody buys this pos and stays up at the dealers lot for months

@RickyAstle98 do you have the full Sport Auto (02/2012) for this car including the supertest chart showing how many points it scored for example? And if so please could you provide them over here?
Many Thanks

i wonder what this car would've done around the top gear track

Lexus needs to make another dedicated supercar. Keep the V10, maybe add a performance hybrid system from LMP1, and give it a dedicated dual-clutch, and if they can’t do that, give it the LMP1 car’s transmission. Top speed should be 220-230 and 0-60 should be in 2.9-2.6 seconds. 750-850 horsepower.

needs a bigger wing to beat laudi's time and vw-911 at the ring lol

aaah the type of buyers out there are such awesome creatures, should help lexsux engineers in the future when choosing better aero for a car that has a v6 sized fake v10 which many have doubt about the useless extra 4 cylinders that makes less torque than a 2.1l mercedes v-klasse lolololololol
their ricer box rc f and ls 460 makes more torque hahhahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Myro, yeah they apparently believe only want THEY want to believe. I've pointed out countless errors and yet nothing is done to correct.
The admin just IGNORE you when you point out an error UNLESS it’s something POSITIVE about an AUDIfor the most part. MAJOR fanboi-ism going on.

So, any particular reason why LFA NP lap time is being constantly removed?? On any other website, people respect that lap time. Whats wrong with fastestlaps?? 7:14:64 is the authentic lap time with video proof. Is that a problem for administrators? Why? What do you want more?

RB26, I completely agree with you, But theres nothing we can do about it, i totally believe the LF-A NSE is capable of that lap, not that i would pay the 400k price though..
(But debating about THIS lap will get yo banned)....-_-

Just because the 7:14 lap time got removed from fastestlaps, does not mean anything.
LFA is an amazing car and its 7:14 lap time is in the history books everywhere and listed as a completely stock car that is available to all customers.
It still is present on all of the other sites that retain Nordschliefe lap times.
Many of the boards I am a member of are very angry at this site for removing several lap times selectively.
It is simply unbelievable that an official lap time done on a stock car with everything officially stock got removed.
Porsche never produced any proof or any video whatsoever and also admitted the GT2 RS gearing was altered to achieve the 7:18 lap time. And it is still here.

LFA's 7:14 official lap time was a historical event and a culmination of Lexus's racing and tuning of Lexus LFA at the Nurburgring racetrack.
It was actually officially 110 lbs heavier due to driver safety equipment (roll cage).
It is completely unfair to remove it when it was official stock lap time with everything stock.
