Compare between a 30' Lincoln and the Voisin , is a big mistake .
Lincoln built luxury cars in 30' ???
Or in 50' and 60' and so .... we speak about 1937 , not 1956-66 the golden age of lincoln and ....
As I said before only the Duesenbergs and Auburns and ... could compare with the Some Euroapian art-works , that i point .

@ Bijan: Luxury cars, like this Lincoln, it's just that Lincoln is American, Delage and Voisin are European, Lincoln only ever built luxury cars, their main rivals have always been Cadillac and Chrysler.

@ Shaggy : If this is a luxury car , what is the Delage , Voisin and many others , that really were the Luxury cars .

Someone: Hey Abe, what do you drive?
Abraham Lincoln: A Lincoln...
Someone: Abe? Lincoln?

Could had been a better joke...

@ Bijan: Basically a prewar luxury car.

This car wasn't a Supercar or sports car and not a Muscle car ....
This is an American pre-war 2 door sedan .
take a look at the 30' Duesenbergs , Cords, Stutz, Alfa Romeos , Mighty Bugattis , MG , Riley , Hispano-Suiza , 500 & 540 K , Voisins and etc and etc .
Thanks.

@ Mental: You're right, Cadillac was using V12s, but very few. I'd say Cadillac was faster, Cadillacs have always been faster and more powerful than Lincolns.

Pretty an amazing pre-war supercar. And what is Lincoln producing nowadays?.. grannymobiles.. shame.

@Shaggy
You are not completely true. Cadillac also was using V12s in the same period. Ford-vs-GM, curiously, I'd wonder which is faster.

@ Super8: Yes, I know of the 1937 Lincoln Zephyr, Lincoln was the only American car brand to build a V12 engine. 4.4 liters, huh?, that's 267 cubic inches. The earlier Lincoln V12's were 414 cubic inches, 6.8 liters. The styling was by John Tjaarda, beautiful car.
