Ok now the W1, first the engine with a flat-plane crankshaft designed from scratch (not an evolution of the 750S engine) that reaches 9,200 rpm. (similar engine note as the F8 tributo) it uses a Radial Flux E-Module (Formula E) Unlike standard electric motors it's exceptionally power-dense, contributing 347 HP while weighing only 20kg & also been used as a reverse gear for weightsavings purpouses. (similar application as MGU-K)
This in race mode does do similar unpredictible things as the F80 does to a extended limited margin, the rear wing doesn't just lift; it moves 300mm (12 inches) rearward, this effectively extends the car's floor, acting as a massive extension of the rear diffuser that produces up to 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs) of downforce, It's to physically transform the car into a "Longtail" in real time, by extending the floor, the W1 shifts the aerodynamic center of pressure, allowing the diffuser to work with a volume of air that a car of its static length simply could not process, it also includes Active Front Aero (active petals) that open and close to balance downforce, change attitude and load based on speed and driver inputs, balancing lift and downforce dynamically (So yee predict how will this behave is counterproductive too, it's changing it's aero profile in real time and extending the cars floor ( like an F1 does in certain scenarios)
Still don't believe this only has 1258 hp , they claim a range between 1,258–1,275 hp, like most McLarens the claimed figure compared to the tested one displays how the claimed figure is too pessimistic, Still 233 hp/L but we do not know the psi soo more "??" going on here...
So in hindsight this takes a more natural aproach to perf figures but still has that non static nature of changing and recalibrating the Aeroprofile constantly ( the Ferrari on average will do this alot more) so this might be working like a relational database like the F80 but Mclaren didn't name this technologies like Ferrari did. This car is also unhinged techwise, but again like with the F80 people don't dimensionate it, still not press tested but all of this sugest big G forces switching the certer of gravity on this model (Dynamic Center of Pressure)

Based on the ZR1X this car should run mid 8s in the quartermile. It makes more power and weighs nearly 1000 lbs less and the ZR1X hit 8.6.

I think this will be able to put down a 9.2 second quarter mile at 162 mph and 1,000 meters in 17 seconds at 316 kph

@humana mclaren gives <9.6s ¼mile so like it was done on the ZR1 C8 9.6 should be added.

Here me out:

New W1 version to smash the whole records & industry.

+Active suspension
+Electric motor relocated at front axle from rear (AWD unlocked for more energy recovery & much better traction)
+Modified V8 engine with 1000/1100+ Hp (Imo the 920 hp is just too weak, 12 years old V8 already had 740 Hp which can be uplifted to that mark with a little tune)
+Weight saving & 1500 kilograms curb weight
+Aero & downforce improvement

In closeup video actually looks more interesting than just in photos. It will be amazing to see it perform on track.
