I owned a beauty in the 90's I picked up for a bargain at auction. Super quick massive sun roof, and even the rear seats were electric. The V8 was so smooth I joked it didn't have an accelerator, just a pedal to make the scenery move faster.

Seven point eight seconds is about one second too slow to sixty for the 560SEL. Considering someone else recorded 7.9 seconds in a 420SEL. Performance times from zero to 60 should be between 6.8-7.2 seconds, depending upon the year and market.
