I don't really follow F1 much anymore. But is that typical of other F1 cars? Only reason I ask is the new electric production hypercars are around the 5 second mark! :o

Yes, its typical time for modern f1 but not from "best scenario" launch - for example - 4,6s to 200km/h hit back in 2017 Bottas at Austrian GP (2017 was first year with fat 405mm rear tires)
Last year at Tuscan GP after restart Ricciardo did 0-200 in 4.2s ! (Hamilton 4,4s) Ocon few weeks ago 4,3s@200...
Around 5,5s @ 0-200km/h (Rimac/Chiron Pur Sport) is no match for F1 and even after that, F1 with low downforce/right final gear goes 200-300km/h in 3,6-4,0s mark (unofficial) so even some crazy fast 1600-1900HP Hypercars are no match for 2017+ F1 car.

Ah I see gearing can take it under FOUR seconds! That's hugely impressive.
The electric production hypercars might hit just under 5 seconds. Perhaps the Lotus Evija! We'll hopefully find out.
Anyway Thank You!
