Nio ES8 (Mk III) specs

I heard something like 90% of the startups have failed or died off. I'm sure many of those are so small that they aren't even in this picture tho.

Some foreign media counted about 55 chinese brand at Chengdu Auto show this year, what they dont know is about 10 times more have been bankrupt in CN in the last decade. So you could see this pic as those who still breating.

lol funny that I literally was in a Nio shop 2 days ago and was looking at this, and a sales asked me if I knew that they sell these in 2 forms: with battery and without battery. The price without battery is like $15k less, but then you have to pay like $150 a month for battery rental. I thought it was a genius idea, since lots of people are worried their batteries will be dead after a few years, or that nobody would want to buy a car with an old battery... well in this case, you can rent your battery and it'll always be in good shape.

Dont know what you guys think about this, opinions goes both way. $15k less is a lot, which also means less tax and insurance, but also, $150 per month is something too, pretty much fills the gap of power spent between a gas car and an ev, or equals an installment plan with a very high interest rate, and also causing problems at resale. They say the dividing line is 6 years, after that BAAS cost more. Nio said over 60% go with the BAAS.
