Even though this compares with full-size cars like the Toyota Avalon, Hyundai Azera, BMW 5 Series, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, its got midsize dimensions to have better fuel economy and keep the insurance bugs away.

If you want a MIDSIZE family sedan UNDER 30K then the Passat 3.6 SEL VR6 is one of the very fastest if not THE FASTEST.
VW Veyron SS 15y ago
You can save some money and get a 2012 Passat 3.6 SEL which is faster than this Maxima.
Passat 5.7 0-60, 14.2 1/4 mile @100.9 mph, and 119 feet in 60-0.
