This s probably one of the most iconic Opel cars of all time. Too bad the new Insignia top model only has 230 horses.

Is the top speed right? 244 km/h with 204 PS?

I own a vauxhall carlton gsi 24v and l can clearly say they are a fantastic car ive had alot of motors in my time ie sierra cosworth alfa 164 24v jaguar xj6 mercs and bmw 7 and 5 models all top spec etc but for the drive you cant beat a carlton gsi 24v its the smartist looking motor with its chunky body and the sound of the 24v engine is fantastic so if you can grab on keep it the drive is superb. this car was developt and build in Germany and sold world wide as Opel Omega 3000 24V only for the UK market it was renamed into Vauxhall Carlton GSi... but all of them were identical to the 3000 24V and build on the same production lane in Rüsselsheim Opel´s main plant
