Estimates should say 12.8, NOT 14.8 at the 105 mph trap speed provided
http://accelerationtimes.com/models/opel-speedster-turbo
0-60 is 4.6 which translates to 4.8-4.9 0-62, not 5.0

Excellent and true sport car, but its nationality is totally unknown: built in Hethel (U.K.) with Opel/Vauxhall components, as engine, gearbox, brakes, ignition key etc., and bodywork designed by Opel/Vauxhall.
However, which is Opel/Vauxhall’s nationality: German? British? North American (GM)? And Lotus? Now it belongs to Malaysian Proton, but when the Speedster was designed it still belonged to GM.

Come on. This car has nothing to do with Germany. It was designed and built by the Lotus boys in Hethel.
