"Japan" the cringe!

User avatar

hostboy  2y ago

I think this car should do 0-100mph in 5.7sec, maybe even less, against a Lamborghini Aventador if there was a comparison test. 1/4-mile timing should result in 10.6 or less, 0-300 km/h= ~23secs...

Fake scans @SRT

User avatar

I'm a fan of these guys and Aston but putting the power down is a problem for both. Can you imagine a German car with this power/weight. It would be supersonic.

User avatar

saxy  2y ago

those numbers make no sense. The car is lighter than any Mclaren and has more power and more torque than any of them besides the P1.

User avatar

SRT  2y ago

0-160- 6.8 , 0-200 - 10,2 , 0-300 - 29
1/4 mile - 11,2 (207 kmh) , 1 mile - 20,2 (260 kmh)

Pagani huayra is the best japanese supercar ever built :p

User avatar

Not made in Japan. -_-

User avatar

Origin country: Japan??? What a joke, Georg.

And then half a year later there are more cars showing up from track monster specialists like Porsche and Chevrolet, And will obliterate everything like they usually do. Still, I maintain, Whats the point in making a track car out of something then wont even see the track?..

Tøs  3y ago

**** me this is brutal the new BC omfg i am lost for words.. The only thing i didn't line was that pirelli torfeo R was only option they should've fitted the torfeo R and let the corsa tires been option tires.. Then this car would set lap times beyond anything.. I just hope someone is putting it on a track sadly i dunno think that will happen..

Huayra BC is out!
http://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/pagani/huayra/60-bc/first-drive

About 10% more powerful, 10% lighter and a million times more aero. 789hp 1218kg weight 647hp/ton.

I'm pretty sure this thing is capable of being faster than all of the big 3. But sadly all 20 models will probably never break sweat. Ever.

User avatar

saxy  3y ago

It'll be faster around the track for sure. There's now a proper front and rear wings, but I have to say, the rear wing is not that big considering the power train we have for it.

A bit ugly with the camo, but not too bad-looking at all otherwise. Looks pretty planted in terms of stance.

....Did you just call this thing majestically beautiful?..........

User avatar

saxy  3y ago

actually I quite look forward at seeing more hardcore versions of the this car. At the moment, the Huayra is no where near as fast as the final evolutions of the Zonda, (lighter weight, HUGE aero, 760hp). But I imagine there will have to be much rethinking because the car's original idea there isn't much room for aero improvement. And I do think the car gives up a lot of track performance because of it.

Nonetheless, the Huayra as it is right now is simply magestically beautiful.

@BR2+

No, it will be a more extreme and track focused version of the Huayra, It will implement new solutions derived from the experience gained with the Zonda R and Revolucion, but it will still be road legal.

User avatar

BR2+  3y ago

Anything with an enormous spoiler, Downforce orientated, Stripped out interior, Or stripped less, race suspension, Competition tyres, Yeah thats a track version.

Although nothing is solid at the moment since they are just test mules, But you can expect everything on the car to make it go faster round a track.

FastestLaps  3y ago

I don't mind a track version but Unfortunately, nobody will use it like so

Nobody uses Range Rovers, X5es and Cayennes for offroading either :p

User avatar

fakekillerfour  3y ago

this car has 730 PS not 710 PS, change it.

User avatar

I love cars  3y ago

It's not a track version: if it will ever be a Huayra R it probably will be built from zero, like the Zonda R has basically nothing in common with the road legal Zonda.Instead, it will probably be a more hard core "S" version of the Huayra, still road legal though: Mr Horacio said many times that the Zonda R (now Zonda Revolucion) was/is a "test lab" for all the extreme technical solution which will be implemented in future road legal car (like, in fact, this upcoming "Huayra S").

And there making a new "Track" version of this car, Which i do not see ANY point in making.

Top speed is 370 kph, at least it was corrected from 400 kph

User avatar

donnalee  4y ago

those aren't the official numbers, and the car can't do a 1/4 mile in 10.2. It wasn't built for that.

User avatar

PaganI  4y ago

Here are the official performance figures: 0-100 kph-3.0 secs 0-200 kph-less than 9 secs Top speed-238 mph Also proof this has traction- Top Gear circuit lap time: 1:13.8 secs The quarter mile for this car is 10.2 secs
