Are we in a world where Cayenne is quicker (in straight line) than pretty much all Porsche Sportscars? 🤯
Porsche you better do something bigly electric with the next 911 Turbo.

Got me some of the Model X Plaid vibes, where they took the Plaid powertrain and put it in an SUV. 0-100 in 3s, 0-200 in 8s both are probably in Porsche fashion, under estimated. There is no chance this will be slower than a cybertruck to 100kph, so most likely around 2.4-2.5s, and 7.3-7.5s to 200kph.
You know what, I'm not actually hating it... and I think they might sell pretty well.
In comparison, the Taycan isn't a bad car, but it's a sedan that's kind of cramped, despite the size of the footprint. It aslo has the stench of depreciation, as pretty much everyone knows they made too many and sold too many. Absolutely nobody wants to buy a new one because they know they would lose so much money, and besides, there are nearly new examples for like half price on the used market.
A new electric Cayenne will much more likely fly under the radar, especially like a blacked out one like this. Nobody will expect it to leave even supercars in the dust off the line. If Porsche is smart, they should keep the Cayenne electric in turbo form, and keep it like that for a while, and make it more exclusive.
