@SuperstarDriver: "Smallest displancement the biggest power and of course..." the biggest turbo lag from all those three. You should learn some basics on turbocharged engines and most likely start to drive different types of cars, not just reading on their technical data.

@SuperstarDriver: I heard the same story about RS5 eating M3 because of having power and AWD advantage. As for weight, check official data and you will learn that 5 series is lighter than each of its competitors on Audi's sides. They are only lighter at FastestLap.

This will always be the fastest sedan/coupe on Earth from now on. The new M5 is not even get close to this in terms of style, exclusivity but especially in performance.
And the future RS6 C7 will be a turbojet because will be much lighter than new M5 and will have as standard 4WD with sport differential which will put more power on the ground then M5.
For example why RS6 is so much advanced:
M5 - 4.4L V8 560HP, 680 NM
E 63 AMG - 5.5L V8 557 HP 800 NM
RS6 - 4L V8 560-600HP 700-800NM
Smallest displancement the biggest power and of course that airplane cockpit...

Hot damn. Porsche needs to take this around the green hell. I don't care how homely it looks at some angles, this thing is insane.

Without awd, the new M5 will have a tough task. The laptimes may be slightly better if the M5 is properly sorted out.

Any word on a new RS6 Audi?

as for the CTS-V....

http://www.fastestlaps.com/comparisons/cadillac_cts-v-vs-porsche_panamera_turbo_powerkit.html

Off topic but I wonder if anyone has ever put the ZR-1's LS9 engine into a CTS-V. The Cadi uses the LSA version of the 6.2l.

@anonymous,nice spelling. My friend got a panamera with a powerkit and he returned incredibly fast numbers, 0-160kph in 6.6 is more like it, 6.1-6.2 seem a little too fast but not a huge difference. Although test have shown that the gt2 rs can do 0-160kph in 6.0 flat.

but considering the normal turbo did 0-100 in 3.6 sec as per fastestlaps am sure this will do it in 3.5 seconds if not less considering the 3.9 is not using LC

Of course, offered by porsche as an "Option" starting this September and some other options such as Sport Design Package and 20-inch Panamera Sport wheels..

PS:they already added it to the car configurator..

Looks like BMW will go strait 600ps powering the next M5 i mean if the 500ps panamera turbo with two people can do 7:56 & 60mph in 3.3 the 1/4mile in 11.6 not just that but 0-150mph in 20.4 , then this (Powerkit) Option right here is just too much for the competitors..
