According to Auto Motor und Sport issue 04/1972 this car had 110PS/6000 RPM and 134Nm/5000 torque. Racing version had 160 PS.
Acceleration numbers from AMuS 04/1972 test:

Yes, I always loved the way Alpine looks. True French classic. Renault should bring it back.

The fully tuned rally version (which could be driven on the road) was the world rally champion when the championship was created, in 1973 (12 years after it\'s introduction!)
P.S. The engine was a pushrod. It still acheived over 100HP/litre in full rally tune.

1364lbs. Yes. It has fiberglass body. And the car phisically is extremely tiny. VW Polo would seem like a giant next to it.

the car was avaible as road car... like my personal pictures shows... all pictures are taken druing the Lufthansa Scuderia classic car meeting in Hattersheim Germany between 2007 and 2009... the A110 was build between 1961-1977 ... this is the 1600s build between 1970-73
