The fully tuned rally version (which could be driven on the road) was the world rally champion when the championship was created, in 1973 (12 years after it\'s introduction!)
P.S. The engine was a pushrod. It still acheived over 100HP/litre in full rally tune.

1364lbs. Yes. It has fiberglass body. And the car phisically is extremely tiny. VW Polo would seem like a giant next to it.
