Unfortunately, this was not made by Ford, so it is not a Ford Mustang. The fastest production Mustang right now is the Shelby GT500 with 662 ponies, so THIS may be a successor to the Ford GT supercar.

Ford Motors makes the Mustang , Shelby just modifies it with add-ons

Someone wise said "horsepower sells" and old Shelby sure knows how to sell. Acceleration at low speeds will probably be not all that impressive due to lack of traction, but at higher speeds it should be very fast. Since this is the Shelby team (not Ford) the suspension is likely to be tuned differently than the GT500 models. It might do well on a track, but it is too early to say. Top speed is also a big question mark, but certainly above 200 mph.
