Shelby GT500 Cobra specs

500 units are going to be built with Super Snake name... Madness ;D

Pretty sure this is just a one off car that was built as a tribute to Carol Shelby and is not going to be avaliable as a regular production car to the public.

Damn a factory mustang with 850 horsepower...this is getting insane.

There is a 650 bhp GT500, and it's top speed claimed also 321 kph. If the "simple" GT500 accelerates to 320 kph, Cobra Must go >340, at least!

In one of my sources is claimed that the top speed is 321.8 kph (200 mph)
I actually think that this baby can do approx 350 kph (220 mph)!

The 600 hp one does 200 right?

cuberoot(850/(600/(200^3))) = 224.6 mph

I give my last respect to Carroll Shelby. His last creation is Shelby 1000. Shelby would be not same without him.

750 ft-lbs = 1013 Nm. So it may be right ;)

@ Mental: This one is based on GT500 Super Snake Prudhome Edition with increasing power from Paxton Supercharge. It suppose to had 750 ft-lbs of torque but I don't to much know and I might be can be wrong.

Yeah, another horsepower-glutton muscle car! This GT500 is built in one unit in memory of legendary '62 Cobra (50th anniversary) and, of course, in memory of Carroll Shelby.

Unfortunately I hadn't found the torque data, but I guess it's about 1000 Nm.
