Tesla Model Y versus Genesis GV60 and the er, Corvette C7 plus the BMW iX and Ford Mach E GT! Let battle commence!

Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance and Jaguar I-Pace > Tesla Model Y "Performance"

even Kia EV6 GT and Volvo C40 Recharge > this plastic Dutch-Chinese crap pretending to be "murican"

Here explains how sh***y Tesla FAILS to even manage to compete with tier two brands. Musk wants it to rival Ferrari...

Autocar tested the Tesla Y Long Range base model.
It has a 434 bhp.
Autocar achieved a 0-60 mph of 4.7 seconds.
But, of course, they don't provide the full set of acceleration figure.
So the question is: did anyone here on Fastest Laps get the magazine.
If so, I would greatly appreciate these numbers.
Please and thank you!

Hello Chiron SS.
Thank you for your concern!
Yes! Even though I still have a little bit of phlegm every now and again, I back out walking and driving. A professor friend of mine has stated it was a mild form of the corona virus I had. He said I can go anywhere I like now.
I would express great gratitude if you could provide the acceleration figures when you can, Chiron SS. I know there are so many folks here on Fastest Laps who despise all Teslas and all electric cars. I firmly believe everyone is fully entitled to their opinions of course. But I just love acceleration figures of both petrol, fast diesels and electric cars. I see plenty of Telsa X's going around. But the Y car might become more popular eventually.

Safe driving from Flt 158,

Hello everyone.
As I had Covid last week I missed out on Autocar's road test of the Tesla Y.
I don't even know which model they tested! Sorry about that.
Does anyone have the performance especially the acceleration figures of this car?
Thankfully I'm much better now, but I don't believe I can buy a copy of Autocar, because it's 6 days now since the issue was released.

Best regards from Flt 158

Well that's a definite fail for the Tesla Model Y that got rear ended...

For the model 3 and Y, I would just get the base model. They are already fast enough. They are all just white commodities and a few years down the road there will be new ones that will be much more cheaper and faster and lighter.
