Admins, please add Magny-Cours Club and Nordschleife laptimes.

User avatar

8.14,93 min on the Nordschleife. Not really blown away by the time honestly.

The world's fastest car at Magny-Cours Club 1:25.98 vroom vroom :P

58 second Yaris... is anyone still on the fence, not believing its the fastest car in the world?

User avatar

zyga  2m ago

Unoffical nurburgsomething time is 7:56.

User avatar

Time is wrong for Tsukuba, that was wearing A052 R compound tyres.

User avatar

Corvolet3  2m ago

This might become the most stupidly overhyped car of 2021. Toyota seems to pay well for advertisement.

User avatar

benedekpuskas  2m ago

Omg, 0-100 in 4.8 seconds!

User avatar

Corvolet3  2m ago

Lmao 4.8 seconds, my ass. It seems that YouTubers just try to manipulate speedometers to impress people and try to be convincing with "it's acktchually much faster!!1". In reality it does rather disappointing 5.5 seconds, no rollout, no bullshit, same acceleration as a 10 year old Audi S3. And I thought only VW fanboys do shameless claims.

User avatar

benedekpuskas  2m ago @Corvolet3

Those runs are measured with vbox, so no speedometer manipulating there :)

User avatar

Corvolet3  2m ago @benedekpuskas

Believe what you want, the actual test results from renowned car magazines say otherwise. It's somewhere around 5.5, on a really good run maybe 5.3 seconds. But no way in the world it does better than some DCT hot hatches with a lot more power. That basically just defies all laws of physics.

At this point I can't wait for the first "stock" under 4 seconds results. Considering how insanely overhyped and praised the car is that wouldn't surprise me.

User avatar

SpeedKing  2m ago @Corvolet3

Looking at the video it appears you can get 0-100 km/h in 4.8 sec if you launch it at 6000 rpm because with the AWD it rockets to 0-60 km/h in 2.05 sec. In the other tests i've seen where it's over 5 sec they launched it at less than 4000 rpm hence why their times were slower. This is why i have said on heaps of occasions that the 0-60ft time is critical for quick acceleration times. Food for thought...

User avatar

Corvolet3 but not logged in  2m ago @SpeedKing

Yeah right, and at 8000 rpm downhill it'll accelerate in 4 seconds before its engine blows up. I simply don't believe fake claims that defy reality.

User avatar

Corvolet3  2w ago

Speaking of stupid claims, this one probably takes the cake ;)

User avatar

SpeedKing  2w ago @Corvolet3

I know this sounds ridiculous however as i've said earlier it launches at 6000 rpm so with AWD it literally rockets off the mark up till 40-50 km/h. The VBox figure that i've seen is 0-60 km/h in 2.05sec(1.8 with roll-out). The BMW M8 does 0-60 km/h in 1.75 sec a difference of 0.3 sec so do you see my point?

User avatar

Corvolet3  2w ago @SpeedKing

I see your point, but you should expect it to get off the line fairly well considering how little it weighs. But it's nowhere near supercars.

This car is nuts. With relatively non-extreme tuning (different suspension, tyres, engine tuning to 300 PS) it can do high 1 minute 01es at Tsukuba.

Pleas3 add 2:03.8, hock to, sport auto

This will be legendary in like 20-25 years. If Toyota will actually make a rally version

'It might not be gone in sixty seconds, but the 2021 Toyota GR Yaris has sold out and the website for pre-orders has temporarily been shut down.'

they thought they could pull it off with the lfailed back in 2011/2012 lol

this hot hatch will be exploding and blasting out of showrooms, something mitsubishi shouldn't have discontinued with the lancer.

3e337fba50fb.jpg?550x800m

but this one is lighter and should be more fun with a proper awd system and tons of tuners that will go wild
